At Schattenboxen Boxers we plan each litter carefully and select for health, temperament, conformation, & working ability. We do not breed often and only breed for ourselves. Because we do not breed often we request that if you are interested in a future puppy that you send us an e-mail in advance to begin the process of being accepted for a puppy from us.

We feel the price of a new member to your family is not what should concern the new buyer. Emails asking for price or buyers shopping around for the best deal need look elsewhere.

Our puppies are not inexpensive 500.00 dogs because of the care we take in selecting the best health tested working and show Boxers to breed from and the utmost care that is taken to raise these puppies correctly -in the house with routine vet care! It is not cheap to properly raise a litter in your home and not in out in the yard with no vet care like most mass producing breeders!! However, our pet puppies are NOT priced at rediculous 2000.00 prices! We do not mass produce and in fact have only had ONE litter in the past three years.

We prefer to meet the owner in person and have them meet our Boxers and the environment in which they are raised. So we request that you fly to Washington and pick up your puppy in person and fly home with your puppy in the cabin with you. We feel this is the best for our puppies.

If you are looking for a show, working, or breeding puppy then be sure to get on the waiting list early. Since we do not breed often please take into consideration that you may be required to wait anywhere from 1-3+ years so please take this into consideration before being placed on our waiting list.

All show/breeding potential puppies are placed on co-ownership contracts to ensure our puppies are health tested prior to being bred and shown in a reasonable amount of shows. All pet puppies are placed on spay/neuter contracts and pets must be altered prior to getting limited registration. White puppies are sold as pets only, on limited registration, and are not for breeding. If you do not share the same ethics as I then please look elsewhere to purchase.

The only exception we make on placing show puppies without co-ownerships is to established breeders or breeders outside of the US or Canada.
